Dessous: la maquette de Citadelle. Ni definitive, ni finie... il manque le plan de pont et l'amanagement des cotés - "the fan at the rear is for the second engine, the main engine is magnetic, but it needs heavy material that are in the ground to support the land cruiser. This "heavy materials" are, in the earth, mainly at the center of the globus, but in Alterra some are close to the surface next to recent meteor crashes. (....) When there are too few "heavy material" to be exploited by the magnetic engine, the second "hydronium" engine- the one you can see the fan- provide an extra power to help the hovering. But the second engine can only be used for short time, and only if "heavy material" are still in the ground, but deeper". An article about hydronium is here: http://www.sharkit.com/alterra1/storyHydronium/storyHydronium.htm (aussi en français) - ![]() - ![]() Click to enlarge This drawing is an early study for the Citadel concept - Below: A quick made volume model - --- ![]() |
